Can I rent a car without a credit card?
Yes, selected vehicles and providers may accept a booking without a credit card. Availability depends on the car category, driver details, dates and pickup arrangements. Sending the online form is a request, not an automatic confirmation.
AUTELIRA will confirm whether payment can be made by debit card or cash, whether a deposit applies and which documents the main driver must present. Do not arrive assuming a payment method has been accepted unless it appears in your final confirmation.

When a credit card or deposit may still be required
Some vehicles, providers or rental conditions may still require a credit card, deposit or pre-authorisation. Larger vehicles can have different rules. The Renault Trafic or similar 9-seater currently carries a €900 deposit requirement, payable by credit card or cash, subject to confirmation.
If you do not have a credit card, mention this clearly in your request. AUTELIRA can then check appropriate options without presenting unsuitable offers.
Documents and collection
The driver must provide a valid passport or identity card and a valid driving licence held for at least one year. The minimum driver age is 21, although vehicle-specific restrictions may apply. Final payment, deposit, insurance and collection instructions are sent before the booking is completed.
