Arrange your late airport arrival in advance
Late collection is subject to vehicle and provider availability, so include your flight details and expected arrival time when requesting the car. AUTELIRA coordinates the handover and sends the exact meeting instructions after availability is confirmed.
Booking ahead is especially important for automatic cars, 7-seaters and 9-seater vans, which can have limited availability during busy travel periods.

Airport and out-of-hours fees
The current airport fee is €15 as a one-time charge. Collection between 18:31 and 08:29 currently carries a €25 one-time out-of-hours fee. Fees are shown separately and confirmed with the available vehicle before you accept the booking.
The website accepts booking requests 24 hours a day. This does not guarantee that every vehicle can be handed over at every hour; the exact collection arrangement must be confirmed by AUTELIRA.

Enter the pickup and drop-off dates, times, vehicle category and Madeira Airport as the pickup location. Use a reachable phone number and email address. When AUTELIRA contacts you, provide your flight number, passenger count and luggage requirements so the vehicle and meeting plan match your arrival.
